XP Sprites in VX?

How do I put XP character sprites into VX. I know VX ones can be put into XP (I've done that before), but I want to know how to do it the other way around. Do I need a script for this one as well?

Only problem, is the white background the character is, unfortunately, placed on.

Use resource manager to select the white color around as transperent.

Tch, always the simplest thing. I thought I'd need to edit the background to match the tile, and save it as a seperate thing. Go figure.
