[XP - Resolved!] I need more than 999 skills

Hi everyone!

Right now its not really a problem, but I think it will be. I think I don't have enough skills.
I have created up to level 27-30 enemies, and 470 skills.

Well... Im out of the proportion. At this rate, when I finish creating level 60 foes, Ill bw out of skills.
This huge amount of skills is due to some character skill + character develop skills + skills 'personalized' for the enemy...

So, if needed I could stop the 'personalization' (ex 'Fire' for every foe, and not 'Fire Strike', 'Fire Breath', 'Fire Claw', etc.....) But, before doing this, I wanted to ask:

Is there any way so I cana have more than 999 skills? Maybe a second Skills.rxdata file and call one or another depending on the enemy id, or something like that??

Thanks in advance ^_^

Do you have a custom battle system that shows the enemies skill when used?
The default battle system doesn't show the name of the enemies skills, only the animation. So 'Fire Breath', 'Fire Claw', etc... are redundant (If they have the same effect).

Brewmeister's right. If you can reduce the amount of skills, then I suggest you do it.
But to answer your question, yes, it's possible to "append" a second Skills.rxdata but as Boonzeet said, the editor will not be able to show the extra skills. And if you want to do that, then you will have to add every the extra skills through script. Quite a tedious task.

Thanks for the answers!

That bunch of 'similar' skills (Fire X, Fire Y, Fire Z...) Does change only a bit. A diferent animation (similar to attacks with a fire effect added) and diferent power for damage calculation.
When I started creating the game I still knew only a few thing about the maker, that is why I have this much of skills. Right now I was thinking in grouping them all and script an increase in power depending on the level of the user... (luckily my enemies also have level) Maybe it could work...

My easy idea was creating a second project (dummy project ^_^) create another 999 skills and rename its file to Skills2.rxdata. But in the scripts I can't find a call to this file to change it... only $data_skills.... :(

So, Im not sure. I could simply create less skills or try and group similar ones. But before it, Id like to try and use scripts to spand the amount of skills.

@woratana :  I really appreciate your offer. Ill PM you right now ^_^ :D

Thanks a lot :)

Wooo! It works so amazingly perfect!

@woratana
I just tried to add 10000 skills, and it worked, the editor is showing them all, 0.o
I must say that I'm impressed. However, it shows only skills 1 to 9998.
It also works in VX.
