Hey, everyone.
I decided that a lockpicking minigame would be great for my game, but I decided that I'd brush up on my eventing and make my own rather than search for one. I'm using XP.
So I dug up the images, evented the whole thing out, and made quite the decent little minigame I think. However; I've run into ONE tiny error that causes the entire system to fail.
I'll post the demo so people can see what the problem is for themselves, but in a brief summary:
I can't get the switches to turn. I've made a system that involves a picture of the door, with two deadbolts that you must unlock.
But for some reason, when this all lines up, and you move the switch when the arrow shows up, it still doesn't change the variable count, allowing you to unlock one of the deadbolts. If someone can help me out with this, I'd appreciate it. I've been toying with it for a while now with no luck.
[RESOLVED] - for anyone who had a problem similar to this. Check your event sequences. I had two pages in an event and they were in the wrong order, causing one of the conditions (A mere switch) to not be read, meaning the entire system failed. But... it's all better now.
If someone wants to use this system, I wouldn't mind sharing, just PLEASE credit me for the work. The demo is up to date and working great as of now.
Thanks for the help.
