Would Jack Thompson ever attack Nintendo?

It may sound odd, but is there a strange chance Jack Thompson would try to speak out against the type of games produced by Nintendo? In example: He says that large inhaling done in Kirby games would promote drug usage, or that The Legend of Zelda would somehow get kids to murder people with swords.

What are your thoughts?

I'd say the man has just lost it...not that he already has in my opinion but if he speaks out against Nintendo, I am going to laugh my ass off.

I couldn't help but laugh as I was typing this thread, the thought of him speaking against Nintendo would probably be the worst of all his failures. xD

Nintendo promotes eating mushrooms, and stepping on turtles.

Oh, and Jack Thompson promotes being an ignorant, obnoxious moron.

You know, I'm going to conspire against nintendo now by saying that they hired Jack Thompson to rid themselves of competition, so then they can release a box of rocks with the zelda logo on it and get people to buy it as there's no competition.....or something like such.

Wouldn't suprise me if that was true, what other reason could there be for his rants and "I know Best about stuff I know shit about" attitude?

Actually, there was. I can't find the article atm, but some women in the 80's kept on insisting that it promoted communism. It never got great coverage though, since most people thought they were crazy

Who WOULDN'T think someone was crazy for attacking a game series for that reason? Aside from that, has any other complaint on video games, other than violent and adult content games that resulted in the creation of ESRB, ever succeeded?

Ratty, we're discussing the US mid 80s. Communist witch hunts were common.

Much to the disgust of many other nations too, as it seemed to be "We'll protect your political freedoms, so long as you aren't communist as we'll kick you out of a job and try and pin something on you".

HAHAHA, u've been fooled like everybody, it's just a conspiracy, Nintendo is just there to draw our attention away from the truth and so is Jack Thompson, he attack games that are violent or AO, actually he is paid by sony, to draw attention away from it's true plan... Conquer the world... y do u think jap guys got so attached to tech after WWII, u'd think games like manhunt 2 GTA IV GOD WAR 2 are violent then u know nothing...true threat is a game sony published in psp, yes so that it's even portable and easy to control people...here is the name:

LOCO ROCO:yes:
Yeah u heard me right it's loco roco, for the ones that played it it's easy to understand, the addictive gameplay,The stupid Catchy music, and the sensless story, i've seen people that are traumatized by that game and now lay on the floor waiting for it to be catapulted toward a fruit on top of the tree. and continuasly move their mouth making strange noises and saying mojo mojo every time a guy with dreads hair walk by...poor people-_-

It is....it's called islamaphobia.

oh yeah. thats right. i went there.

Um....he didn't say that. The Silent Alarm is talking about how Americans fear Al Quaeda atm. Also, as long as he doesn't go "l0l i l13k ff7", why should it matter if he types like that?
