WIP

[Siege]

This was originally set out to be a private template to be created for a commerical game. But I haven't heard from the creator and have heard reports the game and its makers have dismantled.

So i thought i'd post the WIP here to see what you all think of it.

The torso is over-defined and the limbs are the opposite.

Also the ears are a tad too high.

The ears aren't too high as it isn't necessarily representing a human body. Just as an elf's ears would be differently defined.

The ears actually are too high to be honest. The shoulder line is awkward at best and I believe his abdomen is too wide in comparison to his thin legs. Moreover, the template is a pillow shaded and the "crab claw" thing he's doing with his hands is disagreeing with me .

Okay, thanks for your tips everyone. I took your ideas and edited the previous one. In my opinion its much better. But still C&C please. I'm not sure about the neck?

The head's too squashed. Make it longer this "^" way.

Okay, revised the head and tried the next frame. Any tips? I'm not sure if its right.

I forgot to edit the shoulders. Let me change that.

EDIT: Tryed putting it in a template format....

I'd like some help, i don't think it's turning out to well. I'd really appreciate some C&C.

Oh heck, I don't know what it is. Maybe make his head go inwards? (><) Just looks a bit strange. And his crotch looks a bit low.

You should move the face down one pixel too (B looks better imo), i made a small example of it hope you don't mind this sort of thing, you should also move that head down one pixel because too much neck shows, the hands are too small as well.

Here's a bunch of advice:
- Give it fists
- Smallen the crotch
- Make the knees ligther
- The arms are reaching too far into the body

I took all of your advice on board. Heres what i got. It's looking much better. I revised the hands, the arms, the head, the knees and the neck.

It looks as if he also brought his wife along...

I think they look much better now, but the man in comparison to the women looks a little too wide, maybe arc his torso a little or widen the women a little.

Thanks Calibre. In the end i widened the women's torso.

I think it looks better now.

OMG, their arms are still very bowlegged (or should I say armlegged?) Anyways, if they had muscles that big, then possibly they could hold their arms like that. But they don't, so they shouldn't.
