[WIP] Wyatt's Template - Arshes

Ok, I am making a template. The aim of the template is:

-Easy to edit
-Easy to make characters at a mass scale
-Easy to make equipment for visual equipment

This template is designed for MMORPG's. I am going to make a sort of starter tileset to go with it.

Some things:

-This is my first attempt at making a template
-This is also my first attempt at spriting from scratch ':|

So far the top row of walking animations for both the template and Arshes have been made. I wont show the template as it isn't shaded very well- not much at all par some pillow shading... I can't sprite flesh very well.

Used the RTP Arshes plus some addec colours for the palette.

After *attempting* a sideways sprite I have erm... given up. I'm hopeless at spriting sideways people I now see, also I am crap at walking animations... :|

Ever heard of shoulders? This template could be good if you just worked on it somemoew. Look at how the other templates do it. Even just stand up and see hoe you walk, I doubt you walk like hitler normally....

aye, practice practice practice. :) no point in giving up when practice will get you there eventually.

Nice improvement on the walking animation. You mirrored the hair as well when you mirrored the walking animation, so swap that back (the tufts falling over the forehead). Shoulders aren't as diagonally slanted as they appear there, stand nekkid in front of the bathroom mirror - stand up straight, ya slacker! - and look at your shoulders and neck, and see how making it appear as though the head sinks into a neck that sinks into the chest changes the shading beneath the head, and how shoulders are shaped more perpendicular to the body.

LOL.

Attack of the robot Hitlers.

Anyway, yea, the walking animation is pretty stiff. Walk yourself or have someone else walk. Does their body remain at the same place when their limbs move? No.

Make it move a pixel up/down.

The legs are better, mind you - it's just the top half which needs focusing on right now. Arms bend at the elbows when you walk, for one. :) They swing in and out. But aye.
