WIP - Supervillain

1. I do have quite a bit of experience with Photoshop but not that much with Illustrator / drawing images with the pen tool.
2. I'm not that good at drawing images of people.
3. Thanks in advance to everyone who takes the time to view this thread and provide me with feedback.

I couldn't get to sleep the other day so I ended up opening up Photoshop and drawing some random lines, this is what my random lines have ended up becoming:

As you can see I have yet to add details to the character, but what I really need help / feedback on are the hands and feet.  I used to draw a lot when I was younger and have since stopped, but even when I was into drawing I could never draw hands or feet.

Also any tips when it comes to coloring and how to shade on the PC are much appreciated.

(*Image was created with the mouse + pen tool in Adobe Illustrator 10.0)

I think the hands are drawn OK aside from being a little small.

The feet/boots, are too round and the one looks a little limp.
I know everyone draws feet at a slope but you could draw them a little flatter. At least have the back foot on a flat horizontal line. In person you would see them straight on and if you looked down at their feet you would be changing your prospective from front-view to top down. So when people draw what they see they draw the upper body straight on and the feet top down. I've had art teachers say you should draw a character from one perspective only.
