I agree with bad. I see that kind of a$$es all the time and they can't look more ridiculous. I'm pretty sure bad is black, and that fashion looks acceptable on them. But whenever a white puts on a shirt he bought in Hiphoper she/he's commiting a fashion and racial crime.

On the spriting side, it looks nice. But the hair looks somehow unatural. And the face should be given more life

I have not started the face yet, or the detail on the pants or even the shoes.

I will see what I can do with the hair to make it look better

Oh! Okay... I forgot to tell you, you have the best non RTP template by FAR. And correct working on it will keep on producing this beauties.

That is my first real attempt at spriting so I think i will get better over time

TLE is the MAIN project and will be till its finished. but im just going to be working on this Rap Battle game in times when I am waiting for work on TLE.

It will use the same systems and editor as TLE but the battle system will require fast thinking, button bashing, time keeping and strategy as it will be basically 8 Mile style battles.

depending on your options and timing depends on what the MCs say (all recorded voices and rappers)

I seriously hope you didn't mean that as a thing in general. As I happen to have said "corn rows". :p Although I don't call them that. Braids work just as fine. Anyways yeah I have a feeling this topic is going to cause alot of problems. Hahaha :-/
But getting back on subject. I like it, but where are the other half of the braids? Also the feet need some work. I'm pretty sure most people don't stand with their feet at an angle like that naturally. But then again I could be wrong...But good work none the less. And there's nothing wrong with a white person having braids. Its like black people with straight hair [[which I also happen to have]] and I get hasseled about it all the time. Its just hair. I think some people are jealous because they couldn't rock braids as well as others. Hahahaha j/k. But yeah not bad. Just fix the direction the feet are facing.
