Greetings, friends...

This is my first RMXP project that I develop with my friends.
I want to make it original, from the visual art, music and of course the story.

Story
Enthrea, a suffering planet, disasters are continuing to occur because the pillars of the planet are already fragile.This fragility is caused by the greediness of its residents who are always exploiting the natural resources in Enthrea without doing any preservation.

The people who has been chosen to save the world by the elders of the planet has established a large organization called ZEFON (ZEbadian FOrtifier Nature). ZEFON has a noble purpose to provide energy to keep the planet's pillars from the destruction with an instrument called the ZEFON reactor. This reactor was being watched by several chosen people who called ZEFON ELITIA. They were located in every continent in Enthrea. But after several years of calm, these disasters begin to occur more frequently than before and the planet was become more vulnerable.

Millia, an agent of the organization named SOFRA (Soldiers Organization For Recovery Attemption) was given the task to gather the survivors to start REPRO (Recovery Project). Millia is always tries to find the potential people who want to follow the REPRO, unfortunately a lot of great people in Enthrea refused to follow her.

Finally, in her desperation, Millia was no longer looking for great people to follow the REPRO, she's just trying to find those who voluntarily want to follow it and find some people that want to do it although they have many weaknesses. These people have unique characteristics that made Millia trust them very much. But then they have absolutely no idea for what they should do except several instructions from the Great leader of SOFRA that Millia even hasn't known by herself. These instructions were always sent in weird manners.

A mercenary who is always serious and always tries to finish his job without thinking about the risks. Many people want to hire him, and the others want to eliminate him. He has bad attitudes and has serious illness related to his memory. Razh met Millia when that girl needed some helps and then she invited Razh to join REPRO.

Razh is good at melee combat. He has powerful and fast combination attacks, however his weakness is lack of endurance.

Field Skill: Shoot (Shoot Remote Objects)

Millia is a special agent of SOFRA (Soldiers Organization ForRecovery Attemption) that has a duty to search and make potential people join REPRO (REcovery PROject). She is cheerful and sociable, optimistic and always tries to solve the problems well. She's willing to recover her beloved planet by inviting people to join REPRO, although she doesn't have any idea how REPRO works.

Millia's specialty is ranged combat but her ammunition is limited. She is also good at healing and recovery mights.

Field Skill: Light (Open Mystical Barriers)

She is a kindhearted girl that always tries to help people from miseries and disasters that occur almost every time in Enthrea. But she also has a mysterious side that even her closest friends don't know. Her kindness often leads her into problems, however, she always considers every people as a kind and nice one. When Millia asked her to join REPRO, she confirmed it quickly, because she expected that she could help many more people.

Renavia is very good at elemental mights and area attacks. But her physical power and endurance are pretty weak.

Field Skill: Crack (Break Lock)

A mysterious sweet talker man that will do anything to get what he wants. He's good at seducing beautiful women. Sieghart has a special charisma to attract the attention of many people. When he was asked to join REPRO by Millia, without further question he followed her because he wanted to seduce Millia whom he considered as the cutest girl.


Sieghart always attacks with his twin blades with very fast movement and has several enhancement mights. However, his vitality is his weakness.

Race: Selza
Origin: Selza Valley
Field Skill: Surf (Pass Through Water)

A Selza tribesman that very timid and have no strong convictions. He always hides at the time of his tribe was attacked by their enemies. He likes water very much. Once, Philo made a fatal mistake in his tribe that caused the whole of tribe people were perished. And the only one that survived was him. When he met Millia, he was told that there was a female Selza still surviving. This made Philo's spirit rise again and he tried to fight fear and guilt to rebuild his tribe by joining REPRO.

Philo has a unique counter attack type of combat, he only could attack after he was attacked. He has great endurance but rather slow at movement.

A girl that is very good at martial arts and assassination but on the other side she could be very rigid and weak. She loves cute things and people. At the moment she met Millia, she felt something different about this girl and then she decided to protect Millia with all her soul and strength even though sometimes she doesn't want to admit it.

Kara is good at medium range combat and spreading type of attacks, but her attack power is quite weak.

I think this looks pretty neat. I adore the custom artwork you got going here. XD With everyone having different "field skills" reminds me Dark Cloud - where everyone had different skills to help you continue on with the game. ^_^

I'd critique the game itself, but I'm not good on that - and I have no idea what to say. ^_^;;

The storyline sounds very interesting ;)
I like the screenshots as well, especially the titlescreen, looks nice and calming for some reasons. The map work looks pretty nice (well, I have no clue about mapping so, in my opinion its pretty good).
I like the character's designs as well.

Looking forward to more developments and I wish you good luck with the project :)
 
Your concept sounds very interesting and it seems to me that you and your team really thought out the story.
However, the only thing that stood out was the fact that you did not name or mention a specific antagonist or antagonistic group, other than the greedy residents of your planet. It didn't make sense to me why any group would want to protect a land for it's people when the population itself is the one destroying it.
Idk if you did this on purpose as to not give away any spoilers.
Nevertheless, I think you are having some arcane factor to the deterioration of the planet, since you mentioned that the rate at which the planet is destroyed increased dramatically at one point. This arcane factor could end up to be your villain.

Another thing that I noticed that you don't have a formal conflict, other than, obviously, the fact that the planet is at an extreme vulnerable point. I wonder if the story line will consist of a party being following orders of a higher position; in other words just following missions. What I am trying to say is that I do nit see a plot, just a setting and characters. But I do realize that you are still obviously not done with this game.

Just to let you know, I am a creative writing major in college, and I would looove it if you could share with me points of your plot and/or synopsis. And if you happen to need any help, I would certainly be willing to help you out, just pm me ;)

That Renavia girl looks like Rinoa, that's the first reason why this project grasped my interest. I'm reading and visting the website now, and this looks like an interesting project for sure.

The battle system looks well thought of and so does the story. the only thing that i don't like TOO much is the mapping. It's certainly not bad but not as impressing as the rest of this game.

And the visual art is amazing! Did you or one of your friends made it? If so, would that person be willing to help out another project too? (if so, let's continue this conversation through pm so this topic stays on-topic)

edit:eek:mg hexacard looks like a great minigame. You should post some info and screenshots of it in this thread ;)

1.EXAS (Encounter-based XAS)
Using another map to battle with XAS style, our actor will be transferred into different map for battle. The battle system has no difference with older XAS 3.7f so far, there's victory event too.

2. Mini Map
Mini map feature has been adjusted with the usage of HUD on XAS. The mini map will be shown at lower-right corner whether on encounter maps or even normal maps. Mini map will also appear at town an cities to help us to locate enemies, NPCs, or even treasure chests. So, keep on eye on it. ;)

3. Hexacard Battle Optimization
Backtracking AI with three difficulties, Easy, Medium, and Hard. Feel the experience between those difficulties. There's a major change on card's appearance.

Have you ever played the game Last Scenario, a completed (100+ hours) rmxp game? Well, if I remember right, there's a cardgame in there called Hex and it looks exactly like this game, with the exact same game mechanics if I'm reading the screenshot right. EXACT same game mechanics.

Yes the core and the mechanism most from the Last Scenario if you only read from the screenshot, but we try to develop that great game further.

The differences are:
1. New Artificial Intelligence division, such as easy, medium and hard, and you can choose it to affect the card points and the difficulty of your opponents.
2. The new attack points, Last Scenario only has 3 points, and this game has 4. the left side is the permanent attack, and the right side are the current attacks and life points, that could be affected by Hexaboost.
3. We develop the Hexapoints, Hexashop and Hexanobles that could affect the whole game.
4. We try to make new art for every single card.

Looks like Zuma and Tumble Bugs, same mechanism but its a pure different game.

1. New HUD (Head Up Display)
This is the brand new HUD for Eternal Grace, more eye catching, artistic and memorable.

2. New Actor Sprites
Following Millia's graphics, Razh's and Renavia's graphics has been updated thanks to kodoktua's work! Expect the better styles and moves from them!

3. Audio Fixing
Clea Leshlick has fixed the sound and polishing the background music. Now, the sound and music will be more enjoyable and keep you on this game.

The debugging, testing and quality control processes have been started since August 1st, 2010. So hope we can provide it after passed the quality control soon. We need your supports.

your character art is really adorable! the menu looks pretty nice too.

something bugs me about your maps, though. i'm sure they need to be a little roomy because of the battle system, but most of the indoor maps seem really big and empty. also the outdoor maps are kind of odd - the plantlife is spaced out kinda strangely, like the 4 tiles of weed things clumped together in your newest screen. sorry, i'm not a mapper so i can't really put it into words but something about them is just slightly unappealing.
