My DSL modem is an Actiontec M1000
This modem is 802.11b/g and DHCP capable.
Hey everybody!
My laptop is running on the wireless network from the wireless adapter. The modem is attached to a desktop pc.
"Called Actiontec. Upnp is enabled by default, WMM is disabled by default.
Multicast or IGMP, filter multicast, and AP isolation are not settings they support."
I'm trying to use Windows Media Center on my Windows 7 Laptop to play videos on my brand new XBOX 360 slim. The XBOX is connected to the same wireless network as my laptop.
My laptop can't find the extender for the XBOX when I put in the code for the XBOX.
The connection is straight through wi-fi, no wires or anything. I've had the same problem before: iTunes remote on my iPod doesnt connect to my laptop; iPod can't wirelessly play another iPod through wifi.
SSH seems to work just fine though. My best guess is the problem is related to Multicast.
Any ideas? I really need this to work.
