Windows 7 and Hp mini problem

Go to the advanced graphics settings for your computer (Usually a page related to your graphics card, probably accessed through the control panel) Most graphics cards and integrated graphics systems allow you to increase the screen resolution beyond the maximum size for the monitor, with the result that you have to scroll to reach the extra bit. (Achieved by mousing in that direction)
I can tell you that at least RMVX works perfectly fine on Windows 7, both 32 and 64 bit. Therefore, I'd assume RMXP, having about exactly the same base as far as I know, would run exactly the same.
To get it to work, try the usual: Run the installer and the game as administrator. You probably already tried that, but I still don't want it to go unmentioned (personally, I have my UAC off, so I don't know wheather you need to do that or not).

In that case, obviously, what I said won't work. And as a side note, developing games usually takes more than an eeePC... even if it's not for RPG Maker, you might still need graphic processing programs, audio programs, want a wide-enough script editor or things of the sort. I'd recommend ya nothing less than a desktop PC, however, a laptop should work as well. eees, however, are barely meant for more than writing an eMail or things of the sort, not to run that many desktop applications.
And yeah, if you still come up with something, please share! Good luck.

yes, there are solutions to the problem however its only for pcs with XP. so como u will love this:
in the screen options inadvanced settings you can add an option to show the resolutions not available for the computer, there u will find the 1024x768 option available and its usable, it converts windows into a window scrollable. u just have to use the screen as if it was a window with scroll up and down to show the screen. there are only some pixels missing so its not bad at all. also there is a program i found on the net, but i dont know if it works for Win7 it works for XP but some prorgramming knowledge is needed, u need to add a modeline of the screen, and another modeline to change the resolution, its not shown on windows but the programs work. there is only 1 modeline ive seen and its for the hp mini 110 which is the model before mine!!!! i hate them.
and because i dont know how to create the modelines and there isnt anything about my model i dont know if it works on win7

I can use Photoshop cs3 here and i cant use rmxp or vx thats nonsense!!!

i found this,but i dunno if its a good idea to follow this instructions, i dont know it its a good idea to change the registry :S

Edit1: im there right now. what should i do, should i go for it???? im in the regedit i just have to change the values, but i dont want to mess up my computer, someone plz recomend me to do it or not!!!

GOOD NEWS FOR EVERYONE!!!! IT WORKS!!!!!!!
Follow the instructions, to find regedit u just have to open start, then choose applcations, there u can find "run" Write regedit. Choose computer then in "see" click for search: write this "Display1_DownScalingSupported" double click and change the value to 1. accept, then search for the next one, change the value to 1, then the next one, again change the vaule untill u have them all to 1, then restart, and voila!!!!!!
