Because I'm much behind the times, up until about 10 minutes ago, I didn't know how to delete pictures from the Photo Channel. Anyway, maybe there are some out there who had the same problem as I where I had 50+ pictures, 3/4 of which were just junk and didn't know how to delete them. I also found some other stuff out that the Wii user manual doesn't tell you, so I thought I might put what I know about the Photo Channel here, and anyone else can add to it. Because I never used mp3's on my Wii, I'm using Photo Channel 1.1
Deleting pictures: Go to the Wii Message Board and find the picture you want to delete (you might have to go months back). Select the envelope with the picture attached and at the top left of the screen you'll see a trash can which, if you scroll over, says 'Trash'. Click it, then click OK to get rid of the photo for good.
Editing pictures: Because I don't think the manual tells you this, I'll put it here. When you edit a picture and then click Post to the Wii Message Board, posting it does not actually save over the original picture. Therefore you can post away knowing that your old picture will remain the same (this is especially useful to know if you have Pokemon Snap and you edit your daily photos. I took a great picture of a Slowpoke and simply coloured over his eyes with his skin colour to get rid of them, it looks pretty funny).
NOTE: I just realised, when you click Post, on the next screen the message, "(The original photo will remain on the Wii Message Board.)" but I'll leave it this here anyway.
Useful/Non-useful cat hints: When you go into the News Channel, you'll see a cat on the top right of the screen sitting there. Scroll your cursor over it and the remote will rumble gently. Click the cat however, and it'll give you some message about her sister or something in the Photo Channel that can be hard to catch. Head to the Photo Channel, select a picture and you'll see the cat roaming around in the yellow bar up top that has 'Fun!' in the middle. If you're too slow to catch the cat, it will run off to the side of the screen. It will reappear however giving you another chance to catch it. It's easiest to go from underneath then quickly tap A. The tips it gives you aren't really all that helpful if you have even a basic knowledge of the Photo Channel... but it's there anyway. I think it has 7 or 8 different tips and there might be something you don't know (I found out some new things). Also, When you go back to the News Channel, the old cat will give you a tip about the News Channel once per loading screen.
That's what I've found, does anyone else have any Photo Channel or any Wii channel quirks or hints? Personally, I wish there was more of this inter-channel easter egg sort of things with the cats. It could make browsing things a little more fun.
