Wii Channel help

Today i was able to go to my friend's house(My basement). He just arrived from another country. His dad spoils him, so i decided to copy his games and Wii internet onto my Wii. But when i go on the SD card, i copy them and it says it cant be copied to this Wii. How do i fix this?

Before i forget; This is a Kodak 1GB memory card. Everything loaded on it.

Well, I hate to be the one to tell ya, but Virtual Console games and Wii Channels can not be copied.  It's some copy protecting that Nintendo puts on them, sorry!  I can explain why it works, as I just now remembered why it does that: when you download a game, a piece of data will get put on your Wii Shop account, which tells it what you've downloaded and what you haven't.  If you try to copy something over that you haven't downloaded, it will give you that error.  I believe it is also written to the Wii, so there is no way around it.  I would keep looking on the internet, just to see if anybody has figured out a way, but I highly doubt there is a way, even if you did mod your Wii.  Sorry dude.

That's not it- Each Wii item is encrypted with a code unique to your Wii. So you can't even use them if you reformat it, I am led to believe. I think Nintendo can transfer them if they need to replace your Wii.

Yes, it's not possible. If you want to play old console games for free on your Wii though, go homebrew. It's really easy if you have the cash to rent or buy Twilight Princess and an SD card drive for your PC, or if you know someone who does. Go to wiibrew.org and follow the directions. Once you have homebrew channel, just install emulators for your consoles of choice and hit the net to find roms of the games you want to play, which you can then copy to your wii over FTP or by putting them directly on your homebrew SD card.

Other Wii games are, as far as I know, out of reach though there may be some people who are working on, or have completed, a crack for them. There's a region-free linux distro for Wii with a game loader if you want to play imports for gamecube or wii but I'm pretty sure it does not circumvent the copy protection for items bought from Wii shop.

Oh, the Wii internet channel sucks ass anyway, btw. Wii does not have enough memory to handle many popular sites so they just crash the console.
