Which one's Stronger against?

Sorry for this really...

I just made like 50 Fire elemental enemies in my project database, now I'm giving them stats. I want them be strong against the Water elements so now I ask this :

What happens when changing the element efficiency tag from 'C' to 'A'

or

From 'c' to 'F' I suppose.

Is the 'A' rating stronger against?

or

Is the 'F' rating stronger against?

I really don't understand. I tried the battle test and I am not coming up with an concusions...

The grade doesn't reflect the enemy's immunity to the element, but how effective the element is. An "A" rating will make that particular attribute deal double damage to the monster in question, while "F" will allow the monster to absorb the damage from that element and convert it into health.

Since I can't see a fire "feeding off of" water, though, you should probably go with an E rating. I think that's half or quarter damage? I forget which.

Oh, right, E is 0%. Thanks, FireRaven. :P

If you change water to A on an enemy, this means the enemy will take 200% damage if the type is water. For instance, if the party uses a water spell, its damage will be doubled (100 becomes 200).

When set to F, this means water attacks will be absorbed (100 damage would heal 100 instead). Whilst E completely nullifies the damage of that type, D reduces the effect by half (50%). B is 150%.

Hope this helps.

Thank you soo much!

So this is what I'm gettig at based on the both of your statements :

A: 200% Damage
B: 150% Damage(?)
C: 100% Damage(?)
D: 50% Damage(?)
E : 0% Damage
F : 100% Absorb(?)

Is it correct?
