Which is better for someone who just started?

Which one of the programs is better for someone who got the program and knows nothing at all about it? I know how to make really minor changes and the such for VX but I was wondering, would XP or even one of the older versions be better for me? I find this pretty difficult and irritating. I try to get it to work but I don't have the slightest clue as to what I'm doing.

I started off with XP, but after getting VX I noticed how much easier it is to use. Personally I still prefer XP over VX. But I would recomend VX for begginers. Now, 2k3...I don't know...Its got a few more complicated things but still pretty simple.

Whichever you prefer. Essentially, they're the same programme. I use VX because I prefer that sorta style, so I guess it's just your call. I'd say on the database side, VX makes it easier, with a few more... perks, if you will. Thats only imo though.
