Where'd You Hang Out When You Were 18?

Got a question guys, and it your answer may just feature in a future novel of mine called Crossing the Pond. Whilst I've written this novel already, I wanted to make some changes. Now here's a question for you all. When you were eighteen where you did you and all your friends hang out? The Pub? A Café? the Park? Anywhere, just throw a few ideas about and help a friend out.

Something that may not come up too much but the Beach! (It's only like half an hour away for me, so it's a nice place to go).

I am 18, but I'm not that mainstream ... (of course I know people that are, so you get both sides ^_^ )

Myself: Hangin' 'round playing Basketball, almost the whole week, alwayws with my best fried, sometimes fight friendly against him ;)

Others: Anywhere where they can get drunk like hell ^_^

Yeah that was my story, Ages: 11-14 it was this bench in town. Ages: 14-16 it was this park and Ages: 16-18 My favourite Pub, which I'm now banned from for three months.

the NAS bowling ally. Also the arcade. Mostly driving around aimlessly, cus stoners dont have a destination. Most people just go to a designated house (every group of freinds has one person's house that is either nicer or more convienient then everyone elses making that the designated meeting spot primarily). That where a group would meet before going on a big trip or the movies or clubbing or the beach or whatever.

But I hang out on the #hive. The sad thing is that I'm not really joking. I don't go anywhere and don't have many offline friends.

Haha I have the best of both worlds! Offline friends are much more fun to be with though...

My brother is 19 but he's usually at home, studying or drawing for universiy (college for my North American buddies ;))...he does media and and animation.
Last year he did pot like everyday (but he's quit now yay!) and he'd go off to friend's houses and just smoke...these days beer is his pot. He gets crazy drunk at home with a few friends every weekend. My mum hates it.

oh crap, double post...my bad, sorry. Well...I can tell you that my brother's friends all did the same too (to add to the topic) and my brother doesn't talk to them anymore...but has his new drunk friends which are a 'delightful' bunch to say the least.

I live in a tourist resort town that has beaches in the summer, snowy mountains in the winter(for snowboarding, and casinos year round, so I have tons of places to hang out (and yes, I am 18)

Usually me and my friends can be found either near the beach (in summer) or the casinos. Also I find myself near the gym a lot as well..

When I was 18, I was around the stables with a bunch of the fittest girls on earth. All unfortunatly under the age of 16 at the time, but wahay at 2 years later ;)


Also, before then, say at 16 ... we were hangin around other peoples houses and garages. Sex Drugs and Rock and Roll!!!!!

I'm 20 now and nothing has changed since I was 18, i still get drunk and forget the night, I still have a band, I'm still at uni, I still go to my local Club, I still bodyboard, I still go to my friends house, I still have sex god bless, i still go to parties, I still go snowboarding, I'm still a pervert hahaha yeahhhh all guys are I think so anyway, its nature if u ask me, my friends still call me when they want to go out, and I'm still on earth at least i think so but u can't be too sure nowadays especialy if you have seen matrix hahaha

yeah life is weird a lot of the time

oh oh i forgot I still forget girls names when I'm out at clubs so I always get them to put their names in my mobile so I can check It hahaha
