Where do you go on holiday?

Every year my mom and dad used to take us to Haven, holiday resort, in either Devon or Cornwall. You know, holiday caravans, with places around to visit and a cabaret and club on resort for the nights.

About three years ago after not going for a few years we realised how utterly shit it had become - arcade machines EVERYWHERE and basically everything out to get your money. So we started doing cottages in South Wales and Ashbourne, and they're absolutely fantastic (cheap too).

What do you do?

To be honest, I never went anywhere on holiday.

It kind of sucks, because at my old work or school people would always be talking about going places and visiting their families. Then they'd ask me, "where are you going?" I'd say, "no where". My family just sits at home and does whatever on holidays. >.>

do you mean holiday as in like christmas or just vacations in general

Me and my family usually have 2 options: (this is the summer vacation btw)

- Go camping in France

- Or stay in the Netherlands and sail with our boat.

This year we're going camping I believe, which is pretty fun but I prefer sailing.
During other vacations we either go to the boat again or just stay at home, which is fine with me as well...

yeah, i usually don't go anywhere either. at least not regularly. we used to stay a week at a trailer park when i was a kid (which was pretty badass because it was right by lake erie, and there were these big cliffs that you could climb) but i haven't been in years.

we used to also have a tradition of going to cedar point every year or so (which is the best amusement park on the PLANET btw) but i haven't been since 2007, although at least i got to ride the maverick coaster! :toot:

I used to go to the Jersey shore every year, but then we stopped. Stupid money.

But last year I went to Baltimore (and had the best crab soup EVER omnomnomnom) and Portland,OR.

I like to go to Duluth, don't sound like much but that place kicks more ass than, well, my town. Plus there's a tiki-themed hotel there that has a really good view of the bay. Either that or Canada.

when i was young i use to go camping every summer but we stopped that when i turned 12 it costed to much money D:

My grandparents used to have a cabin up in Colorado that we would go to, but one day they just suddenly sold it.

We don't go anywhere to vacation any more, or on vacations at all, but I guess it's okay since we live in Hawaii.
