What would you do if RMXP.ORG closed for good?

Personally, I'd probably quit game-making until I went to college....

Game making is half of what I plan to do with my life! I need as much practice and publicity as possible, and if rmxp.org is down, where will I post my game where people can find it? Who will I ask for resources and scripts? Don't think I can live without this site.

But not everybody can draw sprites or write scripts. Without this site, creating an original game would be a nightmare!!! A NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then go to Creation Asylum? :-/ I honestly don't know why this site is your life. I can honestly live fine without it.

Edit:And why is this is Forum Games?

Yeah, I think this should probably be in General Discussion...

And I wouldn't care too much. I'm not much into game-making any more (ever since I realized that I have ADHD too much to finish anything), but I might miss a few people on here (Nin, jstreet, mostly)

"Oh. Must have moved the domain again."

I'd go back to doing what it is I did before waisting hours of my life here...
Getting work accomplished on my project!

How is it that visiting a site partially aimed to help one create, finish, and perfect their project hinders the project itself from being made?

I already said that not everybody knows how to write scripts or make their own resources. Have you seen the requests section? It's larger than everything else on this site. And to find the right resources by any other means would be difficult.

Anybody who IS dedicated to making games and wants to make it their profession, please answer said question.

I'd stretch, blink blearily, and go outside. Then I would lead a life totally free of the internet, raise some lovely children, learn to play the guitar.

seriously though, I would practice my guitar more and probably miss going onto alexa and thinking about how much brag-value I get. I would also forget everything I know about site design, and not really regret it too much. But I would miss my friends from here, because I would not be likely to move onto another community.

This forum is basically all I do with my free time. And the community is like a family to me. Wow..... I just realised that I spend way to much time here......... Oh well... If this placed closed.... I would..... hmm...... go find where Erk lives, fly down there, and get him to open it again.

I probably would not move onto another community either. I've joined others before but I've never posted or been generally active. So, I'll probably still attempt to making something with RMXP but not be as active in the forums.

Well, it seems that there are indeed people would dearly miss this site, and others that could care less (may the RPG gods smite them). Major kudos to all those who love this site as much as I do.

I would probably try to help with reviving this site.
This is the place where I get the inspiration and sometimes some new ideas for my own project.
And I like the community :)
