I'm getting a PS3 this weekend, the 80GB Package deal that comes with Metal Gear Solid 4. But I want another game too, I'm debating between, Call Of Duty 4 (I hate FPS Games but CoD4 is just too kickass) or a random game like Skate. and I love RPG's so if anyone knows of any good RPG's for the PS3 shoot 'em my way. Thanks everyone!

Well it's going to be a birthday gift to me from my girlfriend lol...So yeah I was looking at Devil May Cry 4 but I only played the first one, it was good but I don't know the story so is it worth it? and Soul Calibur is only fun until you beat it so many times but thanks I'll look into them anyways...anything else? :wink:

I'de go with devil may cry 4  .
Devil may cry 4 is deffenly worth getting , not only is the game back as good as it was ..
(after 2,3 being dumb .. )
in devil may cry4 you also control an other character for a change (and he is fun to use .. trying to run .. GET HERE ! woops you grab him from a distance xD)
though dante is also back to play with (about 4-5 levels though) ..

The story is good and finaly theye put the sparda guy at the back ground ..

mgs4 is WORTH BUYING AN ENTIRE SYSTEM FOR.
i'm not even a LOLKOJIMA fan or anything but FUCKING HELL that is a SWEET GAME

cod4 is always a sure bet
uncharted is EXCELLENT but it's a rent because it's very short
dmc4 is veryfun, not as good as dmc3 but still worth it
ratchet & clank is actually pretty awesome
there are like 10 REALLY REALLY cool downloadable games on the psnetwork, like Echochrome or Pixel Eden, for 10 bucks a pop, totally worth it
soul caliber is everything everyone tells you, and darth vader is so fucking awesome i could cry
i've actually heard folklore is shitty.

For the PS3, Assassin's Creed. Bioshock comes out in October. Elder Scrolls IV: GOTY edition isn't a bad buy (although it's not quite as good as ESIII, to me). Gran Turismo 5 is stellar and ought to tie anyone over until the actual GT5 comes out. LEGO Star Wars is way, way too much fun (but a much, much better fit on the Wii somehow). Lost Planet isn't bad, but to my mind more of a renter than a buyer (unless you rent it and really like it: several friends loved it.) Definitely get Ninja Gaiden Sigma if you don't already own Black for the Xbox. The Orange Box is absolutely worth it: HL:E2 is fun, Portal is just astounding, and Team Fortress 2 is a GREAT multiplayer game. No matter what you may think of Soul Calibur, SCIV is surely the best of them all so far. Feel grateful you won't have the 360 version: Yoda is SO CHEAP. GRAW2 is excellent. If you liked the original Turok for the N64, the new Turok is pretty fun.

Other than those, you've got Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII to look forward to (sure they're on the 360, but unless the 360 is multi-disc, I get the strange feeling the PS3 version will be superior), as well as Resident Evil 5, (hopefully) Mirror's Edge, and a few others.

Top current suggestion is far and away Assassin's Creed.

Get GTA 4, tons of fun online id tell anyone who has a 360/ps3 to get it...

Also if you played them all no ps1/ps2 , get Metal Gear Soild 4, great game with a ton of cutsences with a great story!

if you havent played all 3 there is a 3 set that comes with all MGS for $30 which isnt bad

I have every metal gear including the one for gamecube and subsistence and substance,and im getting the 80GB bundle pack, so it comes with MGS4, and yes the 80GB is backwards compatable.. oh an "missingno  " i already have a Wii..so thanks everyone I appreciate greatly.
