what programs do you recommend

i was thinking of getting fruity loops for making my game music but wanted to know if there are any better programs to get instead

FL Studio is the best music making program I know of on the web.

But if you're a traditional midi guy and just starting out on music, Noteworthy composer is really good.

fl is weird with MIDIs. i can never get it to work very well, so you might want to try a different app if that's what you're going for. however, if that's not what you're looking at - then fl is a great choice given its affordability and user-friendliness. perhaps i should just compile a list of music development applications to avoid these threads in the future. :0
