What manga are you reading?

I don't like reading manga. It's expensive and short. I want to rant about my bad experiences but I won't.

I recently got a gift for a friend called "It takes a Wizard" the complete saga. I might read it before I give it to her. Something about a wizard apprentice entering a city filled with demons.

I don't read manga because it costs $10 for an hour's worth of enjoyment, and yet a good book can occupy me for a couple days or a couple months depending on length, story, and writing style. and its only $7-8. (I only buy hardcovers when its one of my favorite authors.)

In America manga are more expensive than harcover books?

no. hardcovers range from $20-45, which is why I don't get them often. The average paperback is $7-8 with the larger ones (the size of hardcovers) being up to $15. Most mangas are $10.

I finished Akumetsu a couple months ago, but i'm re-reading it, and it's freaking incredible. The author's very good and verbose, and the art is absolutely fantastic.

Hmm... where to begin. I'm always reading manga... I've just gotten Zombie Powder in the mail, and I'm enjoying it. It's pretty lol cliche, but it does what it's supposed to: entertain me.

I don't read much in the way of manga, but I do enjoy seeing what's out there. I recently stopped by a book reseller that sells literally everything for $1, and was surprised to find a volume of 3x3 Eyes. I hadn't seen that in years. Then again, this place had a shelf specifically for books between 50 and 100 years of age, as well as all sorts of other stuff. I bought a book on National Parks that was just as old as I am.

Darker Than BLACK, Eureka Seven and a few others, like Naruto and Elven Lied -- which is really sad!

I perfer anime over manga, but for DTB and Eureka Seven, they have different dialogues and scenes, so I read and watch. Plus, the story line for them are so good, I have to read where the anime came off of lol

Even though manga hurts my head and eyes...

I don't really keep up with my manga reading; I read Gantz occasionally if I can and sometimes check out new stuff. The Naruto manga is bearable, unlike the anime, so I read it some weeks.

I really don't like anime and manga much anymore. I grew out of it, I guess. I still keep up with Naruto and Bleach (since they're almost finished), Fullmetal Alchemist (the last chapter is on its way so...), and a new one I discovered from the guy who made Rave Master, Fairy Tale. It's pretty bearable, and has its moments that are funny.

i like how the topic is called what manga are you reading but everyone translated that to HEH IM NOT READING MANGA BUT ILL POST ANYWAYS.

im reading Gantz atm, its pretty bad in the current arc tbh but i love the series (the beginning was fantastic up until the vamp's) and have been keeping up with the weekly chapters. also started one piece; so far its surprisingly good! reminds me of dragon ball.

also ahahahah at paying for manga what are you guys serious.

Yo moog, check out this thing called battle royale. battle royale was amazing. IT didn't really give me the OMG THAT WAS TERRIBLE I CAN'T BELIEVE SUCH SH*T CAN HAPPEN feel that it seems other people got.

haha yeah daxis ive read all of BR, it too is also really well done. it keeps you reading and the characters are very realistic (like gantz). the movie was pretty good too imo, although the second was trash

i actually would buy BR if it wasnt so pricey, i mean its prolly one of the most expensive manga sets out there.

Intriguing. Much better than the noob shit that's coming out in the shonen jump magazine. always did know i was gonna return to the series eventually.

It's basically about this guy who's stepsisters try regularly to seduce him. He attempts to resist the efforts but usually caves.
