What kind of program

would you use to create music? Like a mixer? I know they prob arnt very easy to use, but i was wondering if anyone knew if theres a computer program that can be used for this. Im not sure if this is the right area to post this, but its somewhat rmxp related, since its for in-game music.

I have this great program that I actually bought at Tops for 5 bucks. It's called 'Sony Jam Trax'. It provides already made loops that you combine to form a song.

Try Anvil Studio at http://www.anvilstudio.com. This program is pretty good, and is free.

Depends on the quality you want. For midi and stuff like that anvilstudio and noteworthy composer are fantastic. For mid level stuff i would recommend FL Studio and Reason 3.0 are great as well and a lot of free samples available. If you want to go for the highest possible quality, invest in a good sequencer app and go VST instruments. The latter is the most exspensive route.

I use FL studio for all my music creation. Though I usually play all guitar tracks live so I just always plug my guitar into my PC and just have fun =P. FL Studio, Anvil/Noteworthy are great programs though.
