Sorry, I got my answer. The characters I wanted to walk back to the main character and rejoin the character were standing on the squares that the caterpiller script needed for the party to appear on. I wanted them to kind of "walk" into the main character like FF7 :P I had to put the "through" property on them at the right time. Thanks for the people who took a look, I guess this can be locked.
And the rmxp.org banner...is it supposed to have a scribbled smiley face and "ha ha ha" over it?

I was wondering if someone could help me with an event that keeps freezing on me. I've been working on this single event for two days and I've stripped it down to the bare minimum (a monster did appear and approach to start a battle upon touching the player, but I took it out to work out these bugs.) I have screen shots but let me explain what I was trying to do...
Upon entering the room, an event started that took two people out of the party, leaving just the main character. I did this because I have a caterpiller script and I wanted two people to move around for a cutscene. People go around, talk, etc, but then I want the two characters to walk back to the main character, disappear, and rejoin the party.
This is what I have...
The SREntranceKill Switch is the second event page, and the event controlling the characters moving on the screen has this too. I did this wanting to just stop the event completely, including eracing the graphic.
And this is when the game freezes. I don't know why :/ The main character is the guy with the scarf-the two people in front of him should have disapeared and reappeared behind him like the caterpiller script allows.
There was also a series of pictures that made a slideshow of movies, which bugs come out, so that's why the guy randomly says "Bugs!" :P
Again, taken out to iron out bugs. The maid that is behind the main character is just a debug character to clear the battles fast on playtests, so you can ignore her
And a side note, the graphics will eventually be all original, but I like to do the programing first before I take the time to design (also why I pasted my old guy's head on one of the default sprites :dead:.) If anyone wants to see more event pages, or more of the first one, just let me know. I'd really appreaciate the help!
