VSTi advice

I've been looking for a set of nice, different, VSTi instruments to purchase and was wondering if anyone had any knowledge of this bundle and whether it was actually any good. For the price, I may well risk it, but would still prefer not to.

And no, I'm not after a big orchestra set given I've got a fairly nice one of those.

tweakbench has cool shit but it's really NICHE. it's fun to play around with, though, especially for the price - and you just might find it useful!

also there's no need to PAY FOR IT since all it is is just all the other (free) plugins on the site in one convenient download, but the maker is rad so it's not a terrible idea.

Are you sure? I can't find the download button on the plugins. But yeah they read like they may be pretty nice to play around with.

Edit: Found the download link in the source. The download icon isn't appearing on the page it seems.

judging by what i know of your tunez (read: you listen to indie so you might possibly make indie-like stuff but i have no idea really) i think you'd find tapeworm really useful. for a free mellotron VSTi it's surprisingly solid.

I'm very much liking the X-Y controller. Makes me want a proper Kaoss pad even more

Yeah, tapeworm is excellent. I do remember looking at a great VST with an excellent variety for really cheap. I'll edit my post once I find it.
