Firstly, please, do not use any material in this thread unless otherwise said. It is for my next project. This thread is to get some honest critique.

Ok, this is not an SVB template, although it can be used for SVB. This template is designed for side scroller fighting games. It will most likely have a charaset template with it when it's complete though, which may not be released. I dont plan on releasing this, I just need some critique. So, here is the actual template.

Do not hold back. Tell me every problem you see. Also, examples to help me correct them are nice as well. I want to make this as good as possible.

The right-side hand has 4 fingers and his left-side one's is too fat for the skinnier right side ones.

It's supposed to have 4 fingers. Thanks for pointing out the other error, though.

Well his arms look more like sasuage links to me rather than muscles :p But ya know... if you want me to get the nitty gritty picky about not holding back. He could also use more of an ankle on the right (his left) it kinda looks like a funny snake. Giving him more of a torso (legth wise especailly) would help the fact that he looks just all limbs and that his legs are coming out way too high. I do like the way the face came out and his eyes don't make him look all cuddly even though it's in a more cartoony style so you pulled that off good. :D

I see what you meen about the arms. Im having trouble pulling them off right. Same with his ankle. Im going to keep the torso the way it is. I tried it longer one time, it looked pretty bad. Thanks for the compliment on his eyes, however.

I'll pull a Despain criticism out of my hat, and that's to say he needs a crotch.

Also, for anybody wondering why I would name a template I don't want to release, Vriko is the last name of the main character. Bayde Vriko.

@Wings: Yeah, that's what I meant, except you forgot one thing: you don't need the privies on a template. Sure, if you're making a hentai game or something, but other than that it's just pointless.

Look- the best and most popular templates on this site. They ALL HAVE CROTCHES.

Why? It provides a base, and support for the rest of the body. It also adds the three-dimensional look and feel, as well as helps define the legs from the body. It's an ANATOMICAL TRUTH. My legs don't connect as an inverted V, no matter if I fucking cover them up with pants or not.

When will people finally learn that The Despain is ALWAYS right?
