anyways, this is a topic where you post some really good music from videogames or whatever. Its not that hard, just link a youtube video or whatever and a little explanation on why its a very nice song and thats it. It doesn't matter if you are listening to it now or you heard it three years ago, this is just a thread for posting inspiring music.

Metroid Prime
its honestly one of my favorite series of games ever. They have great atmosphere and the music consists of some great ambient and battle themes. The games also kick some serious ass in gameplay as well.

a great melody and a great, almost ambient, track. It depicts the mood of the stage and of the game so well. You should be able to listen to this song and pick up a lot about the atmosphere of the game.

another battle theme but in a totally different nature. It has a much more distinct and almost melancholy tone.

i think these are really good examples of songs that fit together nicely and maintain a theme while conveying different tones and atmosphere and they are all pretty great i recommend listening to all of them they are worth your time~
If I had to pick one it would be a split tie between the Rundas Theme and the Phendrana Drifts theme but they are all great so listen to all of them!

Fusty: Tbh the Hyrule Field song in Zelda was never my favorite Zelda song from Oot. I mean, its a good song for a good game but I always thought there were better songs. Maybe its just me though.

Metroid Prime (and also banjo-kazooie :fap: ). the music from the metroid prime games is so fucking good and yeah man i love that you have Phendrana as the first one there because it's so just PERFECT. especially for the location man but even without context it's just a totally chill song to listen to.

i mean then again the metroid prime games are probably my favorite games of all time ANYWAY.

i also totally love the title screen music from the first Prime. it's just so great at setting the mood for everything that is to come.

TES: Morrowind's theme (Call of Magic). To me, this piece is absolutely gorgeous. It captures the atmosphere so nicely, and portrays tons of emotions right off the bat.

Touhou 7 true last boss theme. Pretty intense considering it's a rearrange of this.

Okami's last boss theme. Again, I love it due to just how beautiful it can sound especially while you play it. Shows the intensity and scale of the boss fight.

Yeah I think that they are my favorite games no doubt. I've played the 2nd the most and have beaten it like tons of times. I think that it has a lot of replay-ability because of the scan system(I scan everything in every room x

Yeah Banjo-Kazooie has some very cute and catchy music. I never played the games until recently. x:
But I did play Donkey Kong 64 and that game is shit-hard
gosh, those crystal caves were like the biggest bitch ever i would have so much trouble
and that castle too
the game just kept getting progressively harder and harder to the point where sometimes it was a little ridiculous
i mean dear jesus i still have problems with it
and Im pretty sure its the same music director because it sounds like it

The Mother games have one of the most memorable soundtracks from any video game I can think of. Some of the battle themes get repetitive but the games have so many standout songs that I can't really fault them for it.

Also, just gonna say that some parts of Donkey Kong 64 were PRETTY TERRIFYING to a 7 year old, and that some songs conjure up similar feelings. :blush:

La-Mulana has a pretty rocking soundtrack. The WiiWare recreation of it still manages to keep on rocking. I'm not sure which version I like better at the moment, but I want to lean towards the recreation.
