Victus's Windowskin Dump Thread (VX WS added)

I got bored, found these forums while messing with RMXP. Personally don't like the default that's given, so I took the liberty to make a new one. Constructive crit is appreciated, and feel free to use it if you like it. Thank you.

I'm not sure what "Danke" means... lol. But cool! Thanks. I personally like VX much more than XP. And I've used XP much longer, ha ha. It's funny how so many people on this forum won't make the jump, but on other forums, XP is almost extinct. .org is just filled with XP vets apparantly.

I personally didn't like XP much. Most of the interface was clunky and frustrating. I just used Orbit and DLed this new one, and I'm already hooked. I will have three skins for VX up in a few hours. Also, danke is german for "Thank you"

Sorry to bump, got a window skin for VX now (I couldn't figure out how to change the skins in VX yet, so it hasn't been tested yet).

Alright, I have a question for ya. Kind of a request actually. That one looks pretty great. Any ideas for a Rome themed skin? Maybe a roman sword and shield for the cursor? Your name would go in the credits!

Gimme a day or so, and I'll see what I can do Mikee. In exchange, teach me how to change window skins in game? (Still new to VX)

In-game? Like... the players can do it? You'll need a script, and I don't know how to do that.... sorry.

If you just wanted to set the window skin default, just put it into the systems folder, and replace the "Windowskin" file that's in there already. Make sure the name is the same. It'll automatically replace it for you.

Thanks. Yeah, I just wanted it to be default. I think I might've figured out how to do it script-wise for changing in-game, still playing with it a little bit. I'll get that windowskin to you once I finish (Forgot V-Day was coming up, and still haven't drawn anything for the lady of the home).

That makes sense. Also. You know that the colors in the bottom right of the windowskins are for the font right? They correspond starting from the top left at 0, and you can you \c

Yeah, I figured already those were for font colors =P

Sorry for the delay on that windowskin. Some military stuff came up, and I haven't had a chance to do it yet. I'm just now about to go look for some reference pics for roman swords and stuff, and get to it. Gomen ne. ^_^;;

Gomen ne. I have failed you. Apparently, I suck at making tiny digital swords for icons. 16x16 is kinda rough to get them resembling anything close to a sword. Once again, I'm sorry.
