Victoria Wood is the mastermind behind Dinnerladies, Acorn Antiques, amongst others. Bafta award winner for her drama work (Housewife 49), master of a piano, standup comedian, Vagina mologoguer (I think), and basically all around brilliant person.

She's coming back to TV this christmas (omigod) after something silly like 9 years.

also, this is not a thread about her looks!! i really enjoy her kind of humor, although i don't understand much of it since it's based a lot upon british media. she's a great comedienne, maybe i'll check out some of her stuff.
