Adult Swim showed the 1st episode of Venture Brothers Season 4 on Sunday. Did you catch it?
If not, they show all the episodes for free (with a few commercial breaks) on adultswim.com.
I was confused as hell for the first 10 minutes, but, in typical Venture style, everything came together in the last ten. What did you think of it?
VB is seriously my favorite cartoon--easily my favorite show on television outside of HBO programming. The writing is just brilliant. If you haven't checked out anything from mid-season 1 on, and you have ever loved cartoons, especially Hanna Barbara ones or super hero-themed ones, you're doing yourself a disservice. I'm so psyched :3
Oh god the CGC rating that kept flashing at the top? I was rolling in the last scene where Hank took it out of the package. Amazing. It was a time-telling device without telling anyone why or how.
And Hitler as a dog. Sophist didn't believe me but I knew it was the dog the second they showed him :3
and LOL at Hatred being the new bodyguard. I wonder where they'll go with the Monarch now if Hatred's no longer arching him. The guild'll probably still dick him around until he finally goes AWOL.
