Validate on portable device?

Here is my issue. I have been itching to get my hands on rmxp, having been an rm2k user for about a decade now ive finally caved and decided it's time to move on up. However I do not have internet access on my computer that I would like it to be installed on. I only have access to public internet computers. This is a situation that is not going to change for a few months and I honestly dont want to wait that long. Is it possible to validate rmxp on an external hd and then take it back to my computer? Will I have to do anything in particular to make it work that way?

I've never owned an external hard drive before, so I don't know the ins and outs and limitations etc, assuming that an external hard drive is just that.....

I don't see why not. As long as you keep running it off that same external drive I don't foresee a problem, if that's your intent. But if it's your computer that you want it on, just don't install it until it gets to your computer.

RPGXP only validates once you buy it. When you install RMXP, you still have 30 days before it stops working.

There's two ways to get this to work. One is legal, the other is not. The first way, which is illegal, is to get a piece of software that will give you a validation code for every computer you plan to use it on. The second is to get something called mojopac, and install that on your external hard drive. Then you can use your external hard drive as though it was actually a computer, thus making RMXP think it's on one computer. The reason you'd have to do this is becasue RMXP only works on the computer it was first validated on, and you'd either need a simulated computer or a lot of activation keys to get it to work.
