Urine Therapy : The Working Acne Method

      Hey Everyone at RMXP.org,

Todays Random Discussion is Urine Therapy! (WEEE)  One of my Best Friends long time told me a story today that really
startled me! He Has Medium to Severe acne and he said he just started using the Urea Noxide  treatment for his face (yeah I know FaNcy! Basically its pee) So He was Telling me today that he had been using it for a week now and He (and I) have noticed a great diffrence in the acne on his face. He is 32 and im 36 he has a degree in dermatology and i have a degree in Game Design so Basically I Have no idea whats he is talking about! So i decided to do a Little Research:

Urine therapy means using (your own) urine externally or internally as a way to promote or maintain your health.

The first question that probably comes to mind is whether urine is not a toxic substance and how a toxic waste product could ever be of any benefit for your health.

Well, urine is NOT a toxic waste product and this has been scientifically proven.

95% of urine is water, 2.5% consists of urea and the remaining 2.5% is a mixture of minerals, salt, hormones and enzymes. Toxic substances are being removed from the body through the liver and intestines, through the skin and through the outbreath.

The main function of the kidneys is to keep the composition of the blood in optimal balance. When there is to much water, the kidneys will remove it. But that doesn't make water into a toxic waste product.

Only the substance urea can be poisonous when present in very large amounts in the blood. However, this is irrelevant in the practice of drinking urine, as urine is not immediately put back in the bloodstream. In the small amounts urea gets back into the body, it is purifying, clears up excess mucus and has a number of specific, very useful effects. Moreover, it has a wonderful healing and tonifying effect when applied to the skin.

You can find urea in many skin products as one of the main components- specifically in many woman cosmetics.

Furthermore, urine is entirely sterile after secretion and has an antiseptic effect. We are talking here about urine from the point of view of somebody who follows a reasonably healthy diet, and who does not use chemical drugs or allopathic medicines. Urine therapy is a method based upon the principle of 'natural cycles'.

As long as we do not interfere chemically with the body's natural cycle, the body produces urine which is perfectly suitable for re-cycling. If you ingest a great deal of chemical substances - and these days all kinds of processed food contain chemicals - part of this will end up in the urine, in which case the composition of the urine changes. Normally, however, urine is a healthy substance which contains healthy, harmless and nourishing components.

Some natural cycles take place more quickly than others, but the cycle in general is the foundation of all life. If we let nature run her course, there will be no waste, and a disturbed equilibrium will always come back into balance. Just as we are capable of disturbing a natural equilibrium, we can also do our part in helping nature recover her balance. In order to support such a recovering of balance, we are equipped with a wonderful, natural 'house pharmacy': our own urine provides us with a swift and safe method for using the powers of the natural cycle.

Briefly, if urine is ingested and/or rubbed into the skin, it purifies blood and tissues, provides useful nutrients and sends the body a signal about what is in or out of balance. This last effect is called (oral) auto-immunization. This brings us to a last important feature of urine. Urine itself is, as said, not a toxic waste product. It does contain however minute particles connected with possible disease processes in the body. These minute particles are mainly antibodies, which upon re-ingesting can help the body to react on specific pathological situations.

Urine therapy has proven helpful in a great number of various diseases, ranging from a simple cold and a throat-ache, to tuberculosis and asthma, from minor skin problems such as itching, to more serious skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis and even skin cancer.

It is generally not recommended to combine urine therapy with the use of (prescribed) chemical, allopathic medicines or recreational drugs. The combination may be dangerous to your health. If you are taking any form of allopathic medicine, begin with the external application (urine massage) until you are free of all medication, if possible.

If it is not possible or safe to stop the use of certain medicines, start with taking a few drops of urine internally or use a homeopathic tincture or gently rub fresh urine into the acupressure points of your ears. Keep looking and feeling very carefully how you and your body are reacting on the treatment. When suffering from a serious illness or, generally, when in doubt, consult a good natural doctor.

So here is My Final Question... What do You Think? (APPROPRIATE RESPONSES PLEASE)

lmfao (not lol) at cruelty... but on a general note... while I think it may help, definitely not worth it... then again I don't have zits, so I'm not sure how it would effect you to the point of rubbing 'piss' on your body.. let alone drinking it...

i'd just like to ask how if it could work, how is it not worth it?
it's not like you'd be pissing on your face and getting drenched all over the place and walking out the house like that.

hi, if it works and it's FREE it's totally worth it, considering acne cream at least on commercials can cost upwards of 50 fucking bucks for a tube :x

although medically very little has been shown, and what has is completely gray.  i personally don't believe in it, why?
i know a girl really into golden showers.  horrible skin.  horrible.  yucky.  yucky, yucky horrible skin.  looks like a leper.  Ewwl...

Wtf? I thought pee had all sorts of poisons in, like ammonia or whatever? Hence why there's all sorts of ways of filtering it to make it drinkable? (But still tastes like pee apparently)

While urine is one of the body's ways of filtering out wastes (mainly urea and other minor toxins,) it's not unheard of that some of the stuff the body filters out can still be put to use. Some species of rabbits eat small portions of their feces to get at the nutrients that were freed up after the first digestion but not absorbed.

That said, I'm not sure as to its effectiveness. I can't imagine that urine is as handy as stated in the gushing medical-miracle pamplet spoilered above, partially for the fact that while the article states that urine purifies the blood, the contents of urine have been filtered out of the blood by the kidneys, and I can't imagine that the hormones included would do much more in the way of communication than the skin is already providing. While I'm sure that some beneficial things are mistakenly removed, I don't believe that it's much of a reason to reintroduce all the other wastes; this seems tantamount to dumping a can of garbage into your living room because there are brass bathtub fixtures somewhere near the bottom.

The entire idea of "natural cycles" strikes me as strange. Continually thwarting your body's attempts to expel waste cannot be entirely healthy. Furthermore, my idea of "nature's equilibrium" was that we piss and shit and the decomposers make use of our waste. It's not like aforementioned rabbits eat all their poop -- they find the ones that contain the nutrients they need and leave the rest alone, because the body's trying to get the rest out for a reason.

(Granted, feces are more septic in nature than urine, but my general point remains the same.)

This just seems like another hokey no-effort miracle cure to me. Everyone's looking for one; gain muscle without hard work, lose weight without cutting back on the unhealthy stuff, the American Dreams. All told, a better way to avoid acne is to cut down on your intake of fat and grease and wash your face.

It is generally not a good idea to consume pee but I doubt rubbing on your face will have any negative effect other than the smell and the regression effects.
I have never heard pee being toxic to have on your skin.

I definitely wouldn't use this method had I acne, but each to their own.

I remember seeing sonething about this on Jerry Springer back in the day (before it turned into every episode being an arena for cheating hillbillies, transexuals, and fat men with diaper fetishes). The dude said it only worked with the morning's first urine.

Eh... I think I'll stick with soap and water. Thanks anyway.

Urea can be bought as a solid granular that dissolves in water. It's used as a grass and plant fertilizer. If Urea is what helps your face, there is no reason to rub your piss on your face when you could simply just buy Urea, dissolve it, and use it like that.
