What makes it better than Ut2? j/w, I haven't even seen anything for advertising on it.
I "bought" it. It's not that good. It's pretty much the same as all the other Unreal games, bar the first one.
When it was in development the team boasted massive player customizability, an engaging single player, and an exciting new multiplayer experience. None of which surfaced at the final release. You can customize your character, in multiplayer only, by picking from various pieces of armor/parts depending on what faction you pick. The single player is just a series of tournament matches with various gimmicks, and a poorly threaded storyline to tie them together, and there are no new real weapons to at least make multiplayer more enjoyable.
The Warfare mode, and Vehicle CTF, are very fun, actually. The vehicles themselves are not all that powerful, but make for fun targets with the Redeemer.
It would make a good LAN game, just like all the Unreal games were, but if everyone has UT2k4 there is no reason to pick up UT3.

I imagine when this game is released for Xbox 360 later this month, it will become more popular, i atleast believe it is this month, may be later, but I do know it will be on the 360... I'll get it then.. I tried to get it for PC and it wouldn't even run do to the outrageous requirements to play it.

Yep, the game is so much better on the PC and PS3, though the Euro version provents me from playing on all servers (Epic changed some code), so I'm still waiting for the first patch to come out. Also the Unreal 3 Engine was desinged to be optimized on the PS3, w00t. Gears of War 2 would look even better on the PS3.

In my opinion they good a good job merging it together with onslaught I think its very refreshing.

the game deleted all of my mods (all of the PS3 mutators, and all of the warfare maps) because of the coding difference that plauges the US version when trying to connect to UK servers, which can't be done till the patch, but how much do you bet that the UK version has all of the US bugs fixed while we are still waiting for our first patch
