Unique Skills: Moving the battler towards the enemy...

Heya everyone!

I just have a question for RMXP...keep in mind that I am using character sets for the side-view battlers.

I am using ParaDog's Active Time Battle v.2.58 script, and I was wondering if there was any way to have certain skills make the side-view battler do a certain movement when that skill is activated?

EXAMPLE
Battle starts,
Actor "Rion" selects move "Tundra",
Shows "Power-Up" animation on Rion,
Rion runs up to the enemy,
Shows "Sword" animation on the enemy
Rion jumps up
Shows a different sword animation on the enemy
Rion turns away from the enemy
Shows "Power-Up animation on Rion,
Rion turns back to enemy,
Shows "Ice" animation on the enemy
Rion runs back to the place he was in before he selected "Tundra"

Hope that wasn't too confusing. If there is anything else you need to know, let me know... :smoke:

Don't know about the script in question-- it may have its own special tricks.

However, here's how I do it in my own incredibly-cheap-and-featureless sideview system:

I cut-and-paste the battler frames into a normal Animation frame along with whatever flashy SFX I want.

Then, in the Animation itself, I use Hide Target to make the character disappear, then use the graphics in the animation cell to show the character moving around.

It works pretty well, but each skill needs to be unique to each player to make it work. But I tend to prefer doing it that way, anyway, so that's fine with me.
