Actually, I'm kind of curious to know this myself.  I'm not much of a scripter either.

I know this might insult your intelligence, but up until now I've been using a format like this to differentiate characters:

(new text box)

GUNTER:  I just want to be a monkey of moderate intelligence that wears a suit.  That's why I'm going to business school!

(new text box)

PROFESSOR:  NOOOOO!!!!!!

Like I said - obvious, perhaps, but I find that it's pretty effective.

...Ten points if you can guess what that's from.

I am no scripter.  There are cool scripts out there to do this, I'm very sure... but I don't know them.

Instead, for my new project, I'm just using common events to show pictures when major characters talk.  It's a bit clumsier than scripting, though.

On the other hand, I also created common events to do emotional effects like sweatdrops, question marks, and assorted other tags on top of the portraits, which looks pretty cool.  Although a scripter could no doubt do it better.

?! lol I dont think you understood me well,so I think your intelligence is in question now,I want to insert picture of character while he's talking(like I saw in one picture of rpg maker vx),so when professor is talking,in text box I want the picture of professor's face also!

i know what you mean, you should look for the AMS Script (Advanced Message Script)
the instructions on how to install it are inside the script i think. (a google search might find it)
here is the link that guides you on how to use the script once it has been installed. Click Here
