Two quick questions

First question: How do I remove and add a character without changing their level that they were at when they were removed? I keep trying to remove a character and then add him/her back later, but they always start off at their base level.

Second question: What's the best way to make a tag-along character?

See that checkbox that says "Initialize Character"?  That's what's resetting the level.  Uncheck it.

I'm not sure what you mean by the second one.  A caterpillar script?

Thanks so much for the first one. For the second one, I mean a character that follows you around. I want to have my second party member follow me, so I created an event in each area for him that is set to follow me, but he kept getting my guy stuck, so I set him to through, and now he walks through everything. Is there any other way to do it?

Probably the easiest way is to get a caterpillar script, it automatically adds party members behind the leader that can go through the leader but nothing else. You can just search the "Submitted Scripts" section for one.

Is it possible to randomize weather with an event? (as in not a script)

Rather than "Wait: 999 frames", you could just have an "Erase Event" at the end. Just call the CE on whatever map you want to have random weather.
