Two Games Branching from One

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could tell me if this was possible and if it is can anyone assist me in any way....

I would like to start off a game as like a spirit and before you actually begin playing the game, the player must choose between either being a male or female. If they choose male, say GAME #1 loads with all the appropriate maps and whatnot. If they choose female, say GAME #2 loads with all the required things. I know that there is limitations in the number of maps and would like to completely customize the game based on the sex chosen. I guess it comes down to the simple thing is there any way to link like two games in one to expand the overall # of maps or can it be done other ways?

If any clarification is needed, I can try and do so.

You have two options, well, 2 options I can think of:

1) It may take a lot more time, but from what you have wrote, I think the best is to make two separated games. One for the Male, and one for the Female.

2) You can make 1 game, but you'll need switches to get track of the hero, and you'll need to apply these switches in most of the events you are going to place. It can be confusing, and can cause errors, when building loads of events which do complicated things.

Anyhow, you don't have to worry about the limitations of the map. I believe the limit is 999 maps, and that is in my opinion MORE then enough.

When you choose to be a male or female, change a variable to either 1 or 2.

Then, everything that requires male, or female, (all of the events) have several pages, and the appropriate one is defined by the variable (ie, 2 pages, 1 for the male, and the other for female)
