[TS] School

I'm using this for my current game project, but it will only appear in a short part of the game. So I figured I'd share it with everybody! :thumb:

Anyway, I made this from scratch. It turned out a lot better than I thought it would. (I especially like the thumbs-up poster).

I got lazy with the desks, so I'm afraid there isn't a down facing desk. (For the up facing desks, the second 'chair-only' sprite is there to cover the characters back)

Also note, I haven't tried using this with the standard rtp characters, but that might only come into conflict when dealing with the desks (which aren't all that great anyway, now that I think about it).

I couldn't think of anything else to add, so does anyone have any ideas on how I could improve?

And before I forget, credit would be nice if you use this tileset.

Edit: I've reworked the outlining to give it a more 'realistic' look, and hopefully fixed the desk problem. And the rug tile looks less rainbow-ish now. Thanks for the tips everybody, but perhaps I could improve more...?

The desk conflict with the entire tileset. I don't know what kind of gradient or whatever that is you use, but it clashes pretty hard. Other than that, this is a pretty nice tileset. What the hell is up with the static tiles?

You could easy modify the desks with a patter in Photoshop an then use cutout tool. What I don't understand is tis strange squares this multicolor square).

But, It's great anyway. I love this anime style.

the multicoloured square is a type of floor, it is pretty wacky; your floors are too high-contrast. You've got a good thing here though! Just needs a little more detail and texturing, and that desk... ugh.

Also the hard outlines in a lot of places (eg. garbage cans and doors and desk) need to be softened and converted to shading instead. Still, this is pretty much useable as-is and a bit of touching up would make it great.

Woah, I didn't think I'd get this many responses in this short of a time!

For anyone and everyone who is confused about those purplish... multi-colorish squares, they are an attempt at the spotted rugs my school seems to have. I was thinking about it, and maybe I should have used colors more close to purple, instead of every color in the rainbow.

The desks, admittedly, are not the strong point of this particular tileset. They'll probably undergo some serious renovations (If I get around to it ':| )

In response to SoulWake's question, I'm using sprites of my own design... which is partly why this has been so long in production.

Thanks for the tips everyone!
