Trouble sleepins

Yeah I dunno I've been having trouble like FALLING ASLEEP lately.  I dunno, for the past two or three weeks there's been an unusual abundance of not getting enough hours and waking up lots in the middle of the night.  I've tried tiring myself out by doing lots of physical exercise right before bedtime but that only makes me have a rough 10 hours of sleep instead of a rough 8. :/

Post your sleepins remedies (I'd rather not resort to sleeping pills at this point :x)

I do alot of situps and pushups lately, it seems to help. Besides that I just turn on some white noise, it helps me.

It's your ego keeping you awake. Start by renaming this forum to something appropriate, like "General Discussion", "Really Stupid Shit", or "Non-Sequitur"

Alleviate worry & stress. (I know, easier said than done. But it can be done. And you'll sleep like a brick.)

My girlfriend and I take a walk around the block before we hit the sack, it isn't exactly hardcore sleep-inducing walking, but it makes it a bit easier...I think anyways...Good luck! If not, knock back some robo and have some fun! That shit will make you pass out, if you don't puke first. don't drink more than a quart a week!

try nyquil? valium? over the counter sleep aids :P

mad chill music - stars of the lid, lähtö, windy & carl, &c. i don't usually listen to tunez when i'm going to sleep but when i do it's usually pretty helpful. also "flood" by boris is amazing fffffff

also contrary to what you might think NOISE works surprisingly well too. usually longer pieces - merzbow/boris's "sun baked snow cave", zbigniew karkowski's "uexkull" - work a lot better since the shorter tracks ending are often really JARRING and if you're right at the brink of sleep they will rape you. the longer tracks you are usually sleeping by the time they are done.

alternatively you can drink a warm glass of milk????i usually drink cappuccino if i can before i sleep because apparently caffeine knocks me out but~

The most common cause of insomnia is Stress & Anxiety. Rather than look for a cure for a symptom, find the root cause.
What happened in your life 2-3 weeks ago that could be a probable cause? (that's rhetorical. I don't need, or want to know)

If you just want to treat the symptom...   comfort food, back rubs & blowjobs seem to work best for me.  :scruff:
