TOD is my game that made by rpg maker 2003. I found that rpg maker XP had more advantage than 2003 version then I remaked this game into XP version. Now my demo in XP version is almost finish then I preview some information in here.
Sorry for my bad english. I’m not good in it and all of my screen shots are Thai ver. After I finished demo I will translate it into english demo soon.
Intro :
“Once upon a time. The earth had many races such as human, elf, angel, demon, monster and dragon those who strong, wild and has enormous power to control entire the world. Because scare of dragon. Other races were cooperated each other to fight with dragon race. It was became great war. The name was “Dragon war”. It took a lot of sacrifice but they could defeat the dragon races. Now all races had their freedom back. But it wasn’t over yet. It’s only the beginning of the new great disaster.”
Story :
Heero, the young ranger who was dragged into an unexpected job that involve to the earth’s destiny. When the summon spirits of were hunted down. And the dragon orbs, the mysterious treasure that disperse all the world were collected. These were connected to dragon war from 1000 years ago. But now human races aren’t any of elf or angel to help them.

The young boy who work as ranger. He is hot temper type and really hate to give up. He says everything that he
thinks then sometime it causes trouble to him and his friends. He always scold his friends but when they
have problem he is always the first person that help them.

Dislikes : Ghost
The young girl who works with Heero. She’s super intelligent and brain of team. She’s playful but when
she’s very angry she will become frightful. Her role as mood maker of team. She can invent the high
technology robot by herself. It’s called “Mee kun”

Likes : All kind of foods
Dislikes(fear) : Mother, his little sister
He is sword man who tries to practice his sword skill to become great sword man like his father.
He meets heero and fei and joins their ranger team. He is apathetic and very lazy guy. But when
it’s become fighting he can fight with his great sword skill.
Rena
Age : 18
Weapon : Staff
Likes : Love and peace
Dislikes : Rat
The young girl form elf race. Travel to the outside world to find someone or something. Heero helps her from bear.
After that she joins their team. She is shy and very polite girl. She is good housekeeper for this ranger team.
She can does all of housework and she loves this job. She is only one in team that can use magic.
Rin
Age : (about) 18
Weapon : Cerberus
Likes : Foods of rena, ice cream
Dislikes : Heero, sef
The young girl who loses her memory. She was helped by explorer team two years ago and became their friend.
Because some accident, she joins with ranger team and tries to find her friend from explorer team. She is very
quiet and calm girl. She has excellent fighting skill. By her gun and her kick style are enough to defeat her enemy.
Sef
Age : 18
Weapon : Scythe
Likes : Woman (not include old ones)!!!
Dislikes : Man
he work as hunter team. He join renger team because fall in love tree girls from this group. He is very pervert.
His hunter rank is F(lowest rank) but his fighting is very great. His speed is very fast and can split his shadow
to confuse enemies. He hates heero and argue with him a lot.
Systems of TOD :
1. Side view battle system (by mink off)
I and my friend(scripter) tried to modify some of mink off old version. And now I think this script is suit for my game but it still has some bugs left.
* Skill and item names are come from Tales of series (because I’m a big fan of this game series)
2. Heat up and Cool down system
Every character have this two skill. Heat up is attack mode. It use for increase attack, speed and accurate of characters. But in will decrease their HP and defend. Cool down is opposite from heat up. It’s defender mode. It use for increase HP, defend and can cures some of bad status like poison. But it’ll decrease their attack, speed and accurate instead.
3. Element and type
For element, it same as regular rpg game. You can find weak point of monster from this element chart.
For type, characters and monsters of this game are split into 3 types attack type(rock), speed type(scissor) and Intelligent type(paper). All types have their week point like rock, scissor, paper game.
4. Fatal strike
It’s sure kill skill for characters. You have to collect the fatal gauge and when it full you can use this fatal strike skill.
* Charge!!!
*Sure kill!!!
5. Quest
You play as the ranger team. Then you have to take a job for money. You can take your job at ranger centre. It’s the main system for this game because it’s the best way to get money for shopping.
* Presia, the only one reception in ranger centre. You have to take you job from her.
* Example of quest’s describe.
6. Costume skill
It’s skill that change character to someone(from other game) and attack monster. It will make your character to attack by other type and element that not your character style. It will increase possible of characters.
7. Character quest
This system is like relationship system. You can choose character to know them more. And it will connect to your ending and hiding event.
