Transparent PNGs

Hey Guys,
I posted about this topic earlier in the forums, about getting a .png I've created to turn transparent once it's actually in the game. I took your guys advice and made sure that my background was white, and no pixels within my image were white... And it worked once, and hasn't worked again. Sorry to ask so many questions, I'm just kinda confused...Thanks again!

It'll get moved eventually. I remember the topic loosely. What program are you using to create this .png? MSPaint, GIMP, Photoshop, Paint.NET?

Standard Paint mostly. I downloaded Paint Shop Pro but it's being kind of a jerk to work with.
