Ive gotten a couple of requests via PM from various people all over the site asking for some tracks. Because of this, im going to start openly taking requests for music. I figure I have nothing better to do (besides MetaShell and some school work) and plus my car is in the shop, so why not?
I realize my stuff isnt the best, in fact its pretty shitty and im only throwing this out cause it will help with my composition stuff and I want to be a nice guy. (Plus Im fucking tired of hearing FF music and RTP in RPG Maker games, lol (jk)) If you dont like what I write and you think its bad or what not, feel free to say so, but NOT HERE. This thread is mainly for music requests and music requests only.
Im also doing this for absolutely free, so if you are interested in saving some dough id be glad to write up some stuff for you. All I require is that you give me credit in your game.
What I will do:
-A track per request, (maximum of two requests at my discretion) with any style I can do. I mostly use synth but can make symphonic or fast rock sounds too.
What I wont do:
-A OST (Dont have the time, no offense)
-A random list of music with no purpose
-Sound effects
-Vocal songs, unless you like Vocaloid (Even then I probably wont) I do use vocal effects, however. =D
What I need from you:
If you are interested in what I write (and again, if you dont like my music, thats perfectly fine) all I need from you is an organized project thread. or proof with some concrete evidence that you have a game in process. This means no jumble of ideas, no mod coming on the thread to jump down your neck telling you it isnt good enough, etc. It has to be feasible so that I know you are in progress. Just post the link to the thread. I dont care what the game is about, Im just going to glimpse it and then start composing your stuff.
I also need you to either give a specific description of how you want your music to sound, or post a link to the file of what you want it to sound like. Ive played almost every RPG known to man and can probably know what track to what game you are talking about but Id rather have it on paper, just to be sure. Thats pretty much it.
EDIT: IF YOU DO NOT POST SPECIFICS ON WHAT YOU WANT OR YOUR PROJECT THREAD, YOUR REQUEST WILL BE IGNORED UNLESS YOU EDIT IT IN 24 HOURS WITH UNIQUE DETAILS ON WHAT YOU WANT. I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO LOOK OVER RESPONSES THAT ARE TOO VAGUE AND MIGHT BE WASTEFUL. THANK YOU!
I write all my music with Finale 2008, with the Garritan Personal Orchestra VST. ^_^ I DO NOT MAKE MIDIS. Sorry, but I can either make wav files or highly compressed mp3s. The mp3 file is usually small, so it will fit your game without taking up much space. I also will crop them for no charge, making the mp3 loop process almost invisible. These are all in high quality.
I will have my computer running at higher speed w/ EWQL Symphonic Orchestra VST on June 9, 2007.
New sounds?
On June 9, 2007, I will have recieved a new VST that allows the sounds to emulate real orchestral sounds! The Music Station is now powered by EWQL Symphonic Orchestra Gold Edition! I will post a sample of what it sounds like later, so if anyone would like their music re-done with this VST, just post saying "I would like a music update" and the name of your track. Thats all!

I study the style of many different composers, mainly Japanese ones(the music is interesting) such as Nobuo Uematsu, Yasunori Mitsuda, Noriyuki Iwadare, etc.
I would also love crits and feedback on the music that is made here, good or bad!
Well, Ill take the first 10 people at a time, and after I finish those ill take some more. When the list starts to fill up ill begin on the music ^_^
