Title Screen - Good or bad? Your Opinion please

Really tho you may want to look at all recent final fantasy boxes/titles and notice that they usualy are forgo the backgrounds for plain white.

@Mascarpone I think the "usual" titles of final fantasy games look... well, boring so
I made my own. I don't want to copy any Final Fantasy Title screen.
UU means UU
When the first demo will be released, the Title will also be released^^
Also the name of the title is maybe not the final name...

I try to change that and will upload 2 new editions soon.

But you want to copy Final Fantasy obviously, so I would try to go with it's style all the way.
And naming it UU just because, is rather stupid. They didn't name it Final Fantasy VII just because, but because it was the seventh in the series.
Any way the logo looks quite nice, but I have to agree that you should extend the glow.

oh and i also will change the title because of this problem with the UU... maybe i change it to
C like compliation and add an title like: final fantasy VII - CC (crisis core) and for the cc i take my
own letters like UU or DD...

the spacing between final fantasy and uu is awful too

it looks bad. there is a reason the FF series is so highly regarded in the RPG world so if u really want to emulate it you better to it down to the last detail.

I personally do not mind the look of it aside from the lower left lighting that was mentioned before. The sun glare circle things and such are nice, though they give me the feel that it should be animated. I think it could look pretty cool if it started with the standard title on white background, giving off the normal final fantasy feel, and then had the black and white background fade in with the light effect casting across it creating the glare circles in the process and giving the feel that it is not just another copy. It would be a lot more extra work, but it sounds interesting anyway. As for the title, when you release it, the full name should be written out. FF:CC actually has Final Fantasy Crisis Core written out fully in the title. You could always try a clearer font as well that does not lead to misunderstandings between letters.
I have no issues with fan games. I do not play them, but I am not going to get upset if I see a lot of them getting made.

Nice, I like it. But the top and bottom strips should be totally black, right? The lens flare is overlapping it. Maybe you should fix that?

As a final fantasy lover i think this tile screen is Very Nice.
AS allready mentioned the spacing between FF and UU is too much, try and shorten it.
and just and idea, for the bottom where it is grey, and a diffrent colour other then yellow...something that complments it, mabe a gold color or a light red.
But other then that top notch stuff

Its nice, The lens-flare may be a bit overwhelming, and the lion-esq figure in the background may be vomiting blood but its interesting enough to keep my attention. The slant on the background becomes annoying to me after a little while; I think its a good concept but I think it may be a tiny bit over-slanted. There are a couple of improvements to be made but over-all its a decent title.

the whole story of my game is as good as finished. so the title of the game changed, too^^

I'll tell you what I think after you tell me how much of this is your work. if you just found the background, and you just found the bahamut thing, then all that's left is a font, and all that can really be said to be yours is the little gradient on the underline.
so please tell me it's more than just images you found and put through photoshop.

wow, that's a solid job there. the fire does look pretty strange on the title screen itself, though.

the paint job in this one doesn't look so great -- mostly it's that the edges and the fill are a little inconsistent. they're softer in some places than in others. the tiered text, each with an underline, looks a little weird, too -- if it were up to me, I'd get rid of the japanese text and have "crystals of chihiru" right underneath "final fantasy" in a smaller and preferably wider (but otherwise similar) font, without an underline of its own.
