Timer?

can someone plz help me?? I'm trying to make a mini game that gives you a time limit to complete it, but im not sure how to use the timer to give you like 60 seconds to complete said task. is this completely not possible to do? is there a tutorial on this that could help me? am I posting this in the right place?? THX!

It's hard to help you since I have no idea what editor you are using.

Well, I'm just going to assume here that you're using RMXP, because that's the one that I can help you with. I suspect that RMVX does this, too. (If you're using R2k3, I have no idea.)

Anyway, the command is Control Timer to start the timer.

Then, you use a Parallel Process event, separate from the event that starts the timer to check the Timer number with a Conditional Branch.
