Tileset made on a boring day.

It was raining here the past two days, and our tv was broken, and I hate reading most books so I made this:


Didn't have much inspiration on those days, it was very dull, so the tileset is quite dull. I may continue it, may even try a make a tree. But it was for the Paradigm template, but the template was too detailed, so I reduced it to 5 colours, e.g.(<<<Didn't use this right did I?) the screenshot.

Anyway, C&C welcome, always hoping to improve(Which is a lot), and the tileset is for public use if you have use of it.

(The tiles seem very inconsistent don't they?)

 

[Perihelion]

The grass and dirt are both very under-detailed compared to the other tiles and the sprite, and the pink color on the walls doesn't quite gel with the muted yellowish tones you have elsewhere. That said, this would definitely benefit from a more vibrant palette. I'd also try to interlace the rocks on the cliffs more so the appearance of vertical lines goes away.

It reminds me of Earthbound/Mother for some reason. Dunno.

Also, is this for VX?

I like the yellow green grass color.
but..
You might wanna add more contrast to the grass details.
I sorta missed them, then I looked at the tile-set and noticed that their
were extra grass-tiles.
