Next Year On .Org
Phew, what a crazy year it's been - seeing us regain our permier spot and launching the site rather glass-half-full into 2011 and a brand new year of game making.
2010 saw us nearly triple our activity from the start of the year bringing us back to our old levels and now seeing us as "the largest English RPG Maker site" (though we offer much more).
Ok I can't handle all this gleeful salesperson talk much longer, so I'll end with this graph:
Last Year
2010 saw the introduction of a resource manager created in house from scratch. It saw the launch of HBChan, which has become IMGBOARD (and passed 5000 posts by the way); our own private Pastebin intergated with the forum posting page and turned into a highly functional scripts manager, an RPG Maker community search engine, and more utilities.
The huge boost in activity impacted all areas of the site, both off topic community areas and the game making spots.
[TROLL!] the trading card game was started, a pokemon fad spread across the forums, and Wyatt discovered true love*
We welcomed Moe to the moderating team and the ORGy awards were highly successful. Congratulations to all the winners: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=71114
The eZine was relaunched although everyone but Wyatt lost interest in it. Shame. Still, four new issues were released at the start of the year.
RPG Maker XP 1.04 was released but we saw past Enterbrain's efforts. Sadly RM is dying in every community. We are now the top site once more, and will continue to serve RPG Maker users, but we now also accommodate other game creation tools.
What is 2011 going to bring?
[TROLL!]
I hope to finish TROLL! some time this year, either during the Easter or Summer holidays or some other time when I am not busy with Uni work and exams. It could be good!
ORGy Awards
The ORGy awards will return at their usual time (around July) and there are some great games around at the moment so it will be tough! Who will win the prestigious Game of the Year award?
bORGies
Planned for last year but never done, the bORGies are a seperate awards ceremony for the best awards in the world: Moustache of the Century, Wyatt of the Decade, Atilla of the Hun; you'd be mad
CREATE! (the contest)
CREATE! continues into 2011. If you haven't already entered there's still time!

And More...
We might have some surprises planned. But then we might not. I dunno. o_O O_o oh god oh god oh
