There Will Be Blood is a game I am currently planning that is based off a story I had written back in 2007. The following information is rewritten to suite a video game more than a story, as well had some other major and minor changes to it. The title ‘There Will Be Blood’ has nothing to do with the movie of the same name, or the book the movie was based upon (Oil!)
I will have more of the backstory up soon, and I apologize if it seems written poorly and rushed. I will have character information up as well, as well as possibly system ideas. No real work on this game has been done game-wise, considering I am Sci-Fi/Modern resource hunting and trying to decide between XP or VX as the maker. I will have character information of all the characters mentioned above, as well as the playable characters (not mentioned in the backstory) hopefully up tomorrow.

Story Outline
Crime used to be a large, noticeable problem in the Kingdom of Ukaria. Same with hunger, sickness, poor military strength, as well as populace moral to get these problems fixed. Ukaria had these issues for almost 200 years, till man and a team of doctors, engineers, and soliders, entered the country and saw the filth and horror that plagued it.
Setting out to stop this country from dying, Maxwell Undra and the Dynasty Company he traveled with started small. They set up clinics and hospitals, with medicine that they developed themselves. They began to bring in food that they had grown with agricultural programs they started in many other countries. They hunted down bandits and slavers and robbers, protected cities and travelers, and even offered assistance and training to the Ukarian Military. Maxwell Undra and his company of men from a far away land had saved a country on its knees regain power, strength, and health. The Ukarian Government, a monarch that was formally plagued with kingly corruption, was eternally grateful, and offered Maxwell Undra and his man anything they wanted. The Ukarian Government did not have much to offer, other than mostly land, which was exactly what Maxwell Undra wanted.
The Dynasty Company came from a collection of men from many countries, but it’s leaders had began to liquidate the company, having suffered from the loss of their founders and many other issues that prevented good leadership at the top of the company. Maxwell Undra had been with Dynasty for a long time, and hated to see it go, so he took the offer of land in Ukaria to begin his own company to help the people of the world. Combining his talents with that of the Dynasty members he had worked with for years, UndraDyne Company was born.
The UndraDyne Company started by doing many of the same things they had been done for a long time;
medical aid, protections, etc etc, but began offering new services as well. These included product development, weapon development , private investigation services for minor crimes, police work for the more major ones, home life services, etc etc. UndraDyne’s goal, and their employee’s tagline was always ‘’making life easy for everyone.’’
Maxwell Undra was a hero. He had not only brought a kingdom back from the dead, but helped it prosper. Maxwell Undra said his heart belonged to the poor Ukarian people, but he would never allow UndraDyne to only help just them. UndraDyne sent many employee’s to several other countries, including Ukaria’s hated neighbor, Sylvak. However, being indebted to UndraDyne for their recovery and prosperity, the Ukarian Government did not take any action, but one could easily tell they were unhappy with UndraDyne working with anyone else. Maxwell Undra was growing old and weary. His son, Alexander Undra, would take over the Company that saved the lives of countless people upon his death.
Maxwell Undra died on a stormy night that rocked the foundations of the UndraDyne Company. Alexander had disagreed with many of his father’s ideals and strove to move the Company forward industrially rather than help as many people as they had in the past. Truly, Alexander was selfish, but he intended to make UndraDyne a world power. He did not forget his father’s assistance to the people of the world, and still introduced more work programs and the like, but they were focused on industrialization and product progress.
Years passed, and UndraDyne had grown amazingly. A whole city surrounded it’s headquarters; a bustling metropolis that took a large part of Ukaria. Even the Ukarian Government had moved many of it’s facilities to the new city of Ezon, a city built by UndraDyne. A statue of Maxwell Undra, his wife, and their son Alexander can be seen in front of the sprawling UndraDyne Campus. The Company had began to take a major interest in almost all forms of business in the world markets, having apparent products in almost all fields imaginable. Organized crime was still a large problem in Ukaria, and UndraDyne was introducing new methods to dealing with the mobs when Alexander Undra was assassinated by Rocco Tyrr, a mobster who did not intend on having his gang slowed down by the powerful Company. With Alexander Undra dead, the Company seemed to stop. He had spearheaded a more business approach to the Company, and without him, no one knew what would happen to the industrial power.
