The Singing Bee...

(my personal opinion/review of this new television show "The Singing Bee" on NBC)
Wow, that was just sad...

1. the dancing bees/girls seemed unnecessary.
2. game severely weighed against you if you've never heard of the song.
3. prize wasn't worth it (especially since 5 of 6 people get nothing anyway)
4. the guy singing the 'countdown' part made me laugh my ass off!

What are your opinions on it?

From what I've read (Haven't seen it yet), it's a singing competition show that, instead of judging your actual singing ability, judges how well you know the words.

Something like that.

Watched this with my mom tonight.
It had an awkward pace to it. I mean, concept of the show...was fun for my mom and I, because it was a lot of songs we knew. But the show itself seemed a little pathetic. (and yes, those dancing bee girls needed to go)
I don't think I enjoyed the show much, just playing along...if that's possible. n.n' *skitters off while singing All Star*
