I was playing around with GIMP and looking at some tutorials here, and made this. Critique?

I think that you should make it more happy, this title atmosphere makes me feel like I'm going to play a princess zombie game, not a chibi people game, but I think it looks very nice, you must have had a bunch of time on your hands...

A princess zombie game sounds nice, but if I was doing that, then I would use streaks of blood and a tilted crown. The story for The Princess Trial has gotten a life of its own now, and it decided to go down the dark and philosophical route, so maybe this title's mood change is a good thing.

It seems very blurry, I'm not sure how you'd fix that. I like the overall shape though, and the crown detail.

Why is it so damn blurry? And why did you use the pixel zoom tags? Also, bevel and emboss is almost always a big no-no.

Unless you use it like I do in some cases. :D But I have more experience with it. :P

I think it looks nice, but it is very blurry. :/ It's got a very King's Quest 7 vibe (maybe because of the crown).

Yea i was thinking the same thing, even tho its a trial. it may look better with slightly brighter colors, but ur on the right track
