The Mushroom Universe: Online
The Mushroom Kingdom is an online Mario fangame. It features different Mario characters in an online world, and it plays like a normal online game. There are many different species to choose from. The game will run on a Java engine that will allow you to play inside a browser.

TMU:O Let's you choose which Mario species you want to be. Currently there are four options open:
Toads
Toad's are the basic fighters in the Mushroom Kingdom. They're extremely balanced, and can be skilled at just about anything. They reside in Toad Town, and are quite friendly.
Koopas
Koopas are shelled warriors, and their defenses are top notch. They live all around the Mushroom Kingdom. While many are allied with Bowser and the Koopa Troop, some choose to live peacefully among the Toads. Koopas aren't naturally skilled at magic, though there are rumors of a witch that can give you quite the boost...
Shy Guys
Shy Guys are quick little fellows, and can hit you twice before you realize what's going on! Their specialty is hitting an enemy over and over before it can react. Their origins are unknown, and they are mostly accepted everywhere. Shy Guys start out with no outstanding stats except for speed, but can develop a specialty depending on who they train with.
Goombas
The classic Goomba. Goombas are good at hand to hand and body to body combat. They can be found all over the world, and there are many different kinds. Goombas have allegiances to the Koopa Troop and to the Mushroom Kingdom. It's up to you who you want to join.
