Well, don't quote me on this I don't know a whole lot about the new rules but... I believe this is in the wrong section, as it looks more like an advertisement than a critique request/good story synopsis.

Screenshots aren’t allowed unless they demonstrate something unique to your game that needs visual representation due to lack of imagination.

Aside from that, I will say the mapping looks dull and there isn’t enough story to say much about either. Also the battlers don’t see to match, in fact… you put Arshes head on one of the White Ties battlers… I think I remember making fun of that at one point, I wonder if this is the same project.

Uhh, I didn't make that battler...  I'm not quite sure if this is the right place either...

Well its not EXACTLY like it, but some of it closely alligns. That doesnt mean its bad, by any means, but besides that one similarity your plot isnt anything to shake a stick at. Its uninteresting, cliche and sub-standard. It sounds like every other cloneable J-RPG on a standard RPG maker site.

Not trying to bring you down, those are just my views on it. Good luck with this.

Hmm, I can see some similarities to Tales of the Abyss, but only now that everyone else has mentioned it. Either way, I'll keep an eye on this. ^_^

Don't forget to credit Ragnarok Online, too! That Kobold sprite is from there. Yes, and they were the bane of my existence for four years...Stupid mutts.
 
Well I quite like the project. I mean, the mapping could use some help here and there, but the battlers look great, and I'm rather fond of the story. However cliché it is, I believe that if it's executed well it could become an interesting project. Try to get a demo? I'm thinking that the battle system will get this some attention.

Yea, a demo may be comming pretty soon.  The first chapter may be complete not much after that, too.  Thanks for the positivity!

Damn, I almost forgot about the Kobold sprite!  I accidently credited some on who ripped it, and just remembered your not supposed to credit rips, lol.
 
I hate to say this man, but with a game like this; you need a demo to show off really good gameplay. Otherwise people will only judge off what they see (graphics and story) and stay away from this project. I STRONGLY recommend you come up with some "selling point" of your game and release a demo of it, otherwise you can pretty much expect no one to play your game.

I am currently in development of the demo, and when I DO finish it, it'll be here right away.
 
The demo is planned to be released this Friday!  :thumb:


The first chapter (from now on there going to be called Episodes) will be comming a little more than a week after the Demo!
 
I don't completely understand the Tales of the Abyss stuff here. I've played through that game four times but I don't really see the similarities.

It looks pretty good. Nothing super special, but not everything can be, right? Don't give up on it, it looks pretty fun.

your maps aren't that good. too empty, and the houses aren't mapped right.
I suggest checking out some mapping tutorials.
The plot doesn't look half-bad at least. But I suggest using a different font-it's sorta hard to read.

Thanks for your support!  I have a really cool forest map I made, and it's probably the only decent map in there. O.O
 
This actually looks good!
Please release a demo, I wanna play! also I'm an OKAY mapper, not amazing, I specialize on the insides of houses. so if ya nneed help im PM you.
